Jackson Street Wander & Eat
Overview
An easy, walkable hit of Petone coffee, culture and great food all in one strip.
Your Visit
Start with coffee and a view at Seashore Cabaret.
Pop into Petone Settlers Museum for a quick history hit.
Wander Jackson Street, browse boutiques, food stores and local makers.
Finish with lunch at The Chopstick Table or Gear Street Union.
LOCAL TIP: Park once and wander, everything’s within a few minutes.

Lower Hutt City CentrE
Overview
One of those days where you don’t need big plans, just a few good stops close together.
Your Visit
Start your morning with a Pilates class at InMotion Studios before easing into the day with coffee from Espresso High.
Take your time browsing the shelves at City Green for fresh produce and specialty groceries, then wander through racks of second-hand finds at She-Preloved.
Finish the day with a movie at EVENT Cinemas Queensgate and call it productive.
LOCAL TIP: This is an easy park-once kind of day. Everything’s within walking distance around the city centre.

River Walk & Coffee Loop
Overview
Fresh air, flat walking, and a strong coffee stop.
Your Visit
Start along the Hutt River Trail and choose a short, easy section to stroll.
Loop off for coffee at Trade School Kitchen or Miss Fortune’s.
Head back along the river or find a sunny stop to sit for a bit.
LOCAL TIP: You don’t need to “complete” the trail, just pick a section and enjoy it.

Beach, Ice Cream & Easy Wins
Overview
Simple, reliable and always a hit.
Your Visit
Head to Days Bay for beach time and space to explore.
Grab a milkshake or sweet treat from Chocolate Dayz.
Walk 10 minutes up the road to Eastbourne shops.
Optional: Take a short walk along the waterfront before heading home.
LOCAL TIP: This is one of the easiest “good weather” decisions you can make.

Mini Adventure in Nature
Overview
Short walk, big reward, perfect for little legs.
Your Visit
Head to Percy Scenic Reserve.
Walk to the waterfall, a 40 minute return trip, explore the gardens and pond.
Bring a picnic or grab something beforehand from The Chubby Baker.
LOCAL TIP: The cave + wētā spotting adds a bit of adventure for kids.
