Ride or walk this flat, family-friendly trail that follows alongside the Hutt River. It’s a great place to get some fresh air. From Upper Hutt to Petone its 29km but you can start anywhere along the route.
Step back into life between 1870 and 1940 at one of Upper Hutt’s earliest pioneer homes. The grounds of Golders Cottage still have original shrubs and trees. A swing in a native Kowhai tree features in a family photograph taken in 1900.
