Naenae Village Market

Come down to Hillary Court every Saturday from 9am to 1pm for your weekly fresh fruit and vege shop

Come down to Hillary Court in Lower Hutt's original 1950's Suburban Utopia — every Saturday from 9am to 1pm — for your weekly 'straight from the Earth — fresh fruit and vege' shop and enjoy some fresh local hot kai, weekly entertainment, locally made arts and crafts, second hand goods and get to know what’s going on in this vibrant, multi-cultural community.

Each week there will be different hot food stalls alongside consistently good fresh and locally grown produce. Naenae Village Market is a great place to find Hangi, Rewana, Ika Mata (Raw Fish), seafood chowder, Somali samosas and curry, and more...

Bands, buskers, dance groups and performers play alongside activities for the tamariki. Ans Westra's photography is on display in the Naenae Centre and Trade School Kitchen is a great place for 'People's Coffee' and a lunch date if the Hangi or chowder sell out.

Take an Upper Hutt train to Naenae Station and exit on the Cambridge Terrace side. In just a few steps you'll be at the market.
