HighLight: Carnival of Lights is shining a spotlight on the Hutt’s Civic Precinct with its latest immersive light installations and performances, this year themed around space, time, love and the outdoors.

Visitors of all ages can enjoy the free 2019 carnival, which saw 130,000 visitors last year experience its mesmerising illuminated installations and performers.

The event will offer guests a jam-packed programme with local and international art and a world class live performance line-up. On top of this, HighLight visitors can enjoy a bustling food village made up of local favourites and fireworks above the gardens every evening.

This year sees the carnival partner with charity White Ribbon to raise awareness and money for its work in combatting family violence in New Zealand.

HighLight: Carnival of Lights is on over Labour Weekend from Friday, 25 October to Monday, 28 October from 8pm - 11pm. Free entry, find out more at highlight.org.nz
