Located in the hill country between Porirua and the Hutt Valley, Belmont Regional park is packed with things to see and do like the historic Korokoro Dam, World War II ammunition stores and the original main coach road from Wellington.

Boulder Hill has sweeping views over Porirua Harbour, Lower Hutt valley and the remnants of ancient boulder block fields.

With tracks galore for both mountain bikers and walkers there's something here for everyone.

The Dry Creek Waterfall is beautiful, but be ready for wet feet on this 1 hour return walk.

If you walk 5 minutes along the Belmont Trig Track you will find the Broadwalk Falls, small but worth a visit. 

Baked Beans Bend is a challenging and technical trail for mountain biking or walking with a great view at the top.

The Puke Ariki trail traverses the length of Belmont Regional Park. Be ready for a variety of track types and terrain!

The 1 hour Korokoro Dam loop will take you up to a beautiful man-made waterfall.

Getting to the park is easy, either by car or bus. Bus timetables are available from the Metlink website.
