SAT 24 FEB 5:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M.
Celebrate summer with the perfect pairing of live music and an outdoor movie in a series of four events we call Rhythm and Reels running throughout February. Fun free entertainment for the whole family!
Come along earlier in the day and enjoy a great day out in Eastbourne with the best of two great events. The Local Wild Food Challenge is taking place in the park on the same day culminating with Rhythm and Reels. Watch chefs and home cooks at the Local Wild Food Challenge cook with ingredients sourced from the local natural environment through hunting, fishing, foraging and gathering.
After the LWFC prize giving at approximately 5pm hear the sweet sounds of local band The Howlers playing all the songs you know and love. Then at 6pm we Hunt for the Wilderpeople will play on the big screen.
We are also lucky to have our friends from House of Travel Lower Hutt onsite handing out some movie goodies before the movie and a chance to enter a competition to win an amazing holiday.
Bring the family, a rug and some warm clothes down to the reserve for the final event in the Rhythm and Reels series. A selection of food and beverage will be available onsite including the Days Bay Pavilion but picnics are also welcome! and for everyone's viewing pleasure please bring only rugs, low chairs or bean bags. No dogs allowed.
