Golders Cottage Museum

Step back in time to life in Upper Hutt between 1870 and 1940

Golder Cottage was built by William Golder in 1876 and a visit to the museum will take you back into life between 1870 and 1940. The grounds have original shrubs and trees and a swing in a native Kowhai tree features in a family photograph taken in 1900.
