Swimming pools

Lots of pools, each with a different experience

Huia Pool

A nationally acclaimed indoor swimming pool. The main pool at Huia has a movable floor which can be adjusted anywhere up to 3m. The toddler and kids pool is a great place for the young ones to learn to swim and build up your skills, and there is a spa for you to relax in.

Naenae Pool

A 50m indoor pool, split into two 25m pools. Come to Naenae pool and take a leisurely swim or get a thrill on the Zoomtube, a 110m waterslide or the DropZone, or the twin racer slide with a 5m vertical drop.

Stokes Valley Pool

A 25m pool for swimmers of all levels and facilities for the disabled. Stokes Valley Pool has a sauna and spa to relax in and outdoor play areas for running off any extra energy.

Eastbourne Summer Pool

Located in the seafront Eastbourne Village, this 25m heated outdoor pool will keep everyone happy. The Eastbourne Summer Pool is open from November through to March for you to enjoy a day swimming in the sun.

McKenzie Baths

The historic McKenzie Baths has served the Petone community since 1933. An outdoor complex with a heated 25m main pool, heated 15m learners' pool and a toddler pool, this is a great place to spend a summers' day

Wainuiomata Summer Pool

Between November and March the Wainuiomata Pool is the place to be! There's four heated pools and an outdoor spa plus an 80m open-air waterslide that threads its way through native bush. Try out the miniature golf course or use one of the barbecues to cook lunch.

H2O Extreme, Upper Hutt

The name really says it all. H2O Extreme is the place to go if you want something a bit more exciting. The wave pool goes at varying intervals, giving the experience of swimming in the ocean. The lazy river ride lets you float around a meandering course, carried by the current. With three hydroslides, the kids (or you) will be kept running up the stairs and swooshing down the slides all day. If you want something a bit more relaxing there is a large spa pool, steam room and sauna for you.
