Short Straw Cafe

Take a break and visit Wellington's first cafe built from bales of straw! Relax and admire the surrounding vistas of rolling hills and rural landscapes while enjoying cafe style food.

This cafe is child and family friendly only an 8 minute drive from the Silverstream shopping centre. You will enjoy this unique dining experience inside the cosy straw bale walls of The Short Straw Cafe.
