Sixth Annual Suburban Rata Walk

The 6th Annual Guided Rata Walk to see Rata, other tree species, native plants and local landmarks. 

Often confused with pohutakawa, the northern rata is a native of Hutt Valley.  The sixth annual Hutt suburban rata walk will take in some of the best examples.

Starting at the Hutt City i-SITE Visitor Centre, 25 Laings Road, Lower Hutt, the walk will go to various places including Jubille Park.
