I'm in Love with Vienna

Spend your lunch time with world class performers.  The Operatunity 2010 lunchtime concert programme is the most exciting yet with some old favourites and lots of new ones.

Benjamin Fifita Makisi and Operatunity present songs from Vienna, venice and surrounds which inspired some of the world's most popular, beautiful and romantic melodies.

Benjamin Fifita Makisi is one of New Zealand's finest Tenors and performs as a special guest artist for Operatunity wherever possible.  He is continuing his career in opera internationally, singing recently with Opera Australia and with NZ Opera.

 

Orene Tiai is a young Samoan baritone based in Wellington who was a recipient of the Bel Canto Scholarship and finalist in the Wellington Aria competition in 2007 & 2008.  Roles include First Priest/Aeoulus in King Arthur, Herman/Schlemil in Tales of Hoffman abd Lord Mountaratat in Lolanthe.
