Jack and the Bean Sprout

Spend your lunch time with world class performers.  The Operatunity 2010 lunchtime concert programme is the most exciting yet with some old favourites and lots of new ones.

Our famous Christmas Pantomime - Jack and the Bean Sprout (we can't afford a bean stalk).  Geoffrey has been writing again and we present a fun look at this fairy tale and others in this mad pantomime.

Bonaventuture Allan-Moetaua graduated with Bachelor of Music (honours). Bonaven was awarded the Iosefa Enari Memorial Award for the support/development of a Pacific Island Opera Singer in 2004.  He won the University Blues award in 2005, 2006 and 2007.  In the NZ aria competitions he attained third equal.

 

Reg Towers has been with Operatunity since its formation and is an extremely versatile accompanist whose expertise spans all musical genres.  Highlights in his career include accompanist for Class Act Opera and Open Factory.

 

Alex Wiltshire's career has seen her work professionally both in New Zealand and overseas as a pianist, singer, accompanist, vocal coach, musical director in a variety of performance arenas including television, musical theatre, recordings, opera and on the concert platform. 

 

Stuart Coats an experienced singer and actor has worked in music theatre and concerts from an early age and with professional companies such as New Zealand Opera, Capital E and Class Act Opera.  He has been Company Manager for NBR NZ Opera and Operatunity is delighted to welcome back one of our most popular guest artists.
