Spend your lunch time with world class performers.  The Operatunity 2010 lunchtime concert programme is the most exciting yet with some old favourites and lots of new ones.

A fun and mad concert of Irish music (feel free to dress up) with Marian Burns on the fiddle, some lovely Irish songs, toe tapping jigs, melodies and sing-a-longs - lets see a sea of green...

Marian Burns was winner of the New Zealand Country Music Entertainer of the year, the 2009 NZ Variety Artists female performer of the year and New Zealanders' vote in the "Showcase" Viewers final.  This exuberant performer has appeared on many stage throughout Australasia.  With Marian we are guaranteed a fantastic frenzy of fiery fiddling.  She will have your toes tapping and promises to bring a smile to your face.

 

Cameron Barclay is in his third year at the University of Auckland.  Winner of the Marie d'Albini Scholarship, he has performed with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Auckland Choral Society, Auckland Youth Choir, bay of Islands Singers, North Shore 100 Voice Chorale, Opera Factory and Pakuranga Choral Society.  Cameron has been a finalist in NZ Aria & Becroft Grand Aria competitions.
