Heritage Month

Each year the Wellington Heritage Promotion Council chooses a theme to celebrate the heritage our Maori & European ancestors have left us.

This year the theme is 'Heritage of our Environment'.

First dam built in New Zealand - Korokoro, Hutt City

Everyone is welcome to the events and displays regardless of whether or not they are a member of the WHPC.

Information on scheduled events will unfold here and on the WHPC website as we get closer to the event.

Please contact us if you would like to use our Heritage Month to promote an event you would like to stage.  You do not have to be a member of WRHPC to be involved.
