Crazyman

Based around the icon outdoor elements of Wellington's Hutt City, you're about to embark on a 66km scenic tour over the hills, beaches, harbour and river that make our Capital the outdoor wonderland that it is.

Established in 1991, the Crazyman is one of New Zealand’s longest running multisport events and attracts around 500 entrants every year. Participants enter as individuals or teams in either the full multisport format (run/mountain bike/kayak) or as duathletes (run/mountain bike).
 
As a feature event on the national calendar past winners have included Coast to Coast legends Steve Gurney, Jill Westenra, Kristina Anglem, Gordon Walker, Emily Miazga and legendary husband and wife duo Richard and Elina Ussher. The Crazyman’s reputation as one of NZ’s top five races means it is also part of the prestigious Sportzhub.com NZ Multisport Series.
 
But first and foremost “The Crazyman” is a community event embracing all ages, abilities and backgrounds. In short, you'd be "crazy not to" contemplate the Crazyman - It’s a “Hell of an event" !
