Beginners Guide to Fly Fishing

Members of Hutt Valley Angling Club guide you on tackle, knots and different fishing techniques.  Then a mentor helps you give it a go.

What to bring:
Gumboots or wading shoes, sunglasses. Rods and other gear will be supplied if you don't have your own.  Always take a sun hat and sunblock.

Getting there:
Turn right onto Carter St from SH2, then left onto Norfolk St to meet at the Belmont Scout Hall.  Drop into an i-SITE Visitor Centre for a map or further information on the area.
