Getting Around

The Hutt Valley has excellent public transport including trains, buses and taxis making it easy to get around.

 

From the Stagecoach Flyer connecting Upper Hutt to the centre of Wellington then onto the Airport. You can also catch the Dominion Post Ferry which makes regular trips from Queens Wharf in Wellington via Somes/Matiu Island onto the seaside suburbs of Petone and Days Bay, Easbourne.

 

The Hutt Valley is well serviced by trains, buses and taxis making it easy to get around. Timetable and fare information is available from the Wellington Regional Council or from the Hutt Valley i -SITE Visitor Centres.
